Removal of 2 span bridge

Rehabilitation of the
existing bascule bridge over the Black River is moving along smoothly
with Project Manager Jay Desai, Project Superintendent, James Hancook.
This summer the crew including Frank Staffe, Terry Dewrock, Lynn Poupore,
Marcia Wachlarz, Doug Greyerbiehl, Pam Walker, Fred Fletcher and Mel
White will pour abutment bolsters and 2 approach spans. Starting in
December the existing machinery will be removed and replaced, along with
renovation of the control tower and replacement of roadway stringers and
roadway grating. The job will be idle for the winter months. |
