C.A. Hull Kicks Off Annual Safety Summit
This week C.A. Hull kicked off its annual Safety Summit.
Traditionally held at Suburban Showplace in Novi, Safety Summit is an event for employees across our organization to come together and discuss important topics affecting the industry, our organization, and the upcoming construction season.
In order to prioritize health and safety guidelines, we had to pivot our efforts this year by hosting a socially distant event on-location, near our job sites. Topics covered at this year’s event include COVID safety, MIOSHA inspections, job site entry points, forklift safety, and more.
C.A. Hull Safety Director, Paul Louzecky, kicked off each meeting and covered COVID safety and OSHA inspections.
“Our annual training day is extremely important to us,” said Louzecky. “So, in true C.A. Hull fashion, we overcame, re-built, and delivered the best message in the safest setting possible.”
Other C.A. Hull guest speakers included Project Manager, Rick Smith, who covered job site entry points, and Human Resources Manager, Christine Niswander, who covered company policies such as equal opportunity employment. Also in attendance was guest speaker Oscar Milian from Trinity Safety Group who spoke to the team about common practices to avoid jobsite injuries.
