Meet Our Summer Interns
Allie Foucher
University of Michigan
Allie is pursuing a degree in civil engineering at the University of Michigan.
I am so excited to be at C.A. Hull and hope to continue to grow as an engineer and as a person throughout the summer. Of course, I can’t wait to watch a bridge be built as well!
Anthony Paredes
Lawrence Technological University
Anthony is heading into his senior year at LTU where he is pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
Anthony’s hobbies include hockey, cars, and fishing. As a season ticket holder of the Detroit Red Wings, Anthony can be found cheering on his local team. He is also a fan of Formula 1 and has his own project car that he works on with his dad. Anthony is on the LTU fishing team and when he’s home, enjoys fishing on the lake with his dad.
I have worked in many different areas of civil engineering in previous internships but have never been able to gain experience or work with bridges. The complexity of them interests me as they always provide challenges that are never the same.
Nickolas Skiver
University of Michigan
Nickolas attends the University of Michigan where he is majoring in civil engineering and plans to concentrate in construction management.
In his free time, Nickolas enjoys playing golf and tutoring students.
During my internship, I am most excited to learn about estimating, and all the costs associated with bridge construction that I would have never considered before working for a construction company. In addition, I am very eager to learn more about what each trade profession does during bridge construction, as there are many positions that I have never seen in action before.
Amanda Smith
Lawrence Technological University
Amanda attends Lawrence Technological University and is majoring in Construction Engineering Technologies and Management (CETM).
Amanda loves being outside and spends her free time fishing, kayaking, riding dirt bikes, and being with her dogs.
I am most excited to experience a demolition but in general, I am very intrigued by the work that C.A Hull does. I want to try to learn and be as hands on as I can in all the tasks that a Project Engineer at C.A. Hull does.
Aidan Webb
Michigan Technological University
Aidan currently attends Michigan Technological University where he is pursuing a degree in construction management.
In his free time, Aidan enjoys fishing, golfing, and weightlifting.
[I am most excited about] seeing the entire process of bridge construction.
