I-94 in Jackson County
- Total Project Investment: $110 million
- Location: Jackson County, MI
The $110-million design-bid-build project began in the summer of 2018 and included repairing and expanding several areas of the highway as well as replacing two mainline bridges, one overpass bridge, and reconstructing the Cooper Street interchange.
C.A. Hull engineers were involved in the pre-bid planning and design stages of this project and worked closely with engineers, contractors, and MDOT.
The project consisted of four phases of construction. C.A. Hull’s portion of the project consisted of reconstructing the existing Cooper Street Bridge as well as removing the existing eastbound and westbound I-94 bridge and replacing it with two individual bridges. Special attention went into the design and construction of the aesthetic aspects of the Cooper Street bridge.
